When you sign up for a Foundation student membership you’re doing a lot more than paying for a martial arts class. Working on a membership basis allows us to do more for our students and families. We don’t charge extra for grading, assessment or belts. We are able to limit class numbers in our allocated sessions to make sure each student gets the time and attention they deserve and members also have priority booking and reduced cost places in our holiday camps.

How Does It Work?

Once you’ve booked and attended a free taster session at your chosen class we’ll ask you to sign up for a membership. This means you’ll pay a set amount monthly by recurring card payment. This payment covers any weekly classes you chose to attend and all grading, belts and certificates. Your membership pays for your space in your allocated class, not specific classes so we can’t offer refunds for missed classes.

Waiting Lists

We limit the number of students in our classes to ensure all our students get the best possible experience. This means that sometimes we’ll have a waiting list for places. If you’ve registered for a waiting list place we’ll save your details and get in touch via email to offer you a free taster class as soon as a place becomes available.

Payment

Sign up and payments are all managed safely online, we don’t accept cash payment. We’ll send you a link to start your membership via email. We won’t ask you to sign any contracts and there is no cancellation period.

Missed Payments?

If you miss a payment our system will automatically re-attempt to take payment 3 times. You’ll receive an email each time. If payment hasn’t been made within one month your membership will be paused and you will not be able to attend classes. Two weeks after this your membership will be cancelled. If you’re having a tough time and you know you’re not going to make payments please email us and we’ll see what we can do. We’re here to be accessible and affordable.

Cancellation

You can cancel your membership at any time by logging into the membership portal. This will stop any future payment attempts and delete all your details from the system. We will also remove all student data from our system in line with current data protection laws. This includes student progress, grading and all medical and contact information.
