We bring our pop-up dojo to your school setting and deliver curriculum enhancing classes tailored to the individual needs and abilities of your students. We build their confidence in themselves, develop positive social interaction and encourage fitness and goal setting life skills for everyone.
Foundation SEND is a project developed directly from the Foundation School of Martial Arts curriculum which provides an introduction into the world of traditional martial arts through a mix of culture, movement, self defence and fun. These classes also introduce students to the values Foundation is built upon: Family (kazoku), Health (kenko), Respect (sonkei), Joy (yorokobi), Honesty (shojiki), Communication (tsushin) and Heart/Mind/Sprit (kokoro).
The programme is split across 6 weeks, with each week focusing on a different key theme along with the regular sections of the class that are part of each week. Developed for between 10 and 20 participants, content is designed for students from 4 – 11 years old with each weekly session focusing on a particular theme which can be tailored to the needs/abilities of the participants.
